industrialization - economic
During the industrialization the use of trains became much more common and miles and miles of railroads were added. This allowed for faster transportation of goods to and from factories, and they were able to distribute goods to places in large quantities that would normally take them forever to ship through carts and wagons. Even though the trains did not go very fast, goods could be stuffed in giant quantities into the carts. This helped the economy by allowing for faster shipment of goods, meaning faster amounts of income to the factories.
